Default Broke my old lap record, first time on track with the C5Z

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd share some footage from the weekend. My goal was to be within three seconds of my old car (rx7 track car).

I ended up beating my old lap record by more than a second I just got the C5 about a month ago, bone stock on RE760 street tires.

We were passing dedicated race cars and big power cars on slicks all day

Congrats. What was your fast laptime? I'm run with 3BallsRacing but wasn't able to make it this weekend.

Cool to see another yellow C5Z roaming the streets of Farmington Hills. Where do you live? I'm off of Drake near 11 Mile.

Hey yeah I heard that a few of us C5Z 3balls guys are in Farmington, I live at 9 & middlebelt.

Fastest of the day was a 131.6, which surprised the crap out of me since it's bone stock with commuter tires

I'll have to have one of you guys jump in the car with me next time, I'd love to get some pointers from someone with more experience in the car.

Wow, I grew up in Farmington Hills and used to run Grattan all the time in shifter karts. That track is awesome. The speed difference between the car and kart is hilarious though, we ran 1:20 with a top speed of maybe 110 at the most. Maybe I'll try to get the C5Z out there one day, looks like fun.

Ha wow that's fast. The guy that runs our club has an open wheel home made car with an ls powerplant, and he only does 1'23-1'24's there.

I think my top speed was around 125, maybe a bit higher.

There are several groups that run events at Homestead, Sebring, and even Daytona.
