Thanks C5 CF members
Had a productive weekend with repairs to my 2000 vert, with a little help from friends here on the forum. The service manual is a must have with the C5's, but the short cuts and tech tips here on the site are priceless. Pulled both seats and repaired the rocking tracks, $9.95. Replaced squeaking A/C belt, not that bad of a job from underneath, adjusted my top, the windows on each side were hitting in the corners just a bit, the pictures on the forum made it so much easier. Pulled both front wheel sensor harnesses and cleaned the connections, one may need replacing if the C1225 code comes back, so far, so good. Made myself a cross beam rear jack board from treated 2" x 6", lifted the rear and ran the car to engage the BMPV, got the C1243 code a week or so ago, have not seen it since. Painted my rotor hubs with black caliper paint, looks so much better that the corroded bare metal. Got the LMS5 on the way and will be pulling ground points and cleaning them up for some preventative maintenance.
Hopefully I can prevent some of the common gremlins we all have or will face sooner or later.
As far as worrying about the EBCM, it is kind of like worrying about the OPTI-spark on my C4 when I had it, if it happens, it happens, just try to find a replacement and move forward. These vettes are so worth the effort.
Thanks to all for the help!!!!!

Lots of very good and useful info here on the forum. I've saved a lot of money following some of the advice here.
