I was 24-25 years old when I bought mine, the seller would not let me drive it.
it was too good of a situation for me to say no, luckily everything worked out and I still have the car 10 years later.

I actually prefer to ride first, when driving you are too busy paying attention to what's going on around you. By riding you can concentrate on what the car is doing, ie. noises, vibrations, gauges etc. Then I will drive it after that.

The post from pirate4life made me return. I would never let anyone connected with car sales drive my car without conditions. Those guys have zero respect for machines, and drive them as disposable commodities.

I need to get rid of my C5 quick.
It's an 04 CE, 65k miles, fantastic shape, nothing wrong with it.
I've got a new toy coming in the next week or two, and need to clear out.
I'm going to price it fairly cheap, but, do you think something like my Corsa full titanium exhaust is worth tacking up the price a bit?
How do I avoid tire kickers?
I really don't want to let people test drive it and **** it up. Is it a huge issue to let them 'test ride' it instead?
Any advice is appreciated.

She's sold. I ended up selling to a dealer. I got less than private party of course, but it was nice to just write a couple signatures and be done.
They said it's one of the first they brought in that they couldn't find a problem with. Damn skippy. I take care of my stuff.
