Need help with seats
Lately I've seen a lot of people doing seat upgrades. This is something I'm looking into but have no clue as to what fits and what doesn't. While scouring ebay I've come across many different seats from different price ranges. I'm not to fussy if they are cloth or leather, but just need to find something comfortable, stable, and decent that won't break the bank. These seem to be generic seats and look no different then the 1k to 2k seats I've come across. Thoughts???

I've also come across a few that have put evo seats in a c5 but not sure from what year(s) would work.

I think either Evo9 or 10 will fit. I'd be leery of those ebay seat. They look nice, but without the vendor selling brackets, fitment may be challenging.

Don't risk your life on cheap ebay seats.
The absolute cheapest route I would go would be f1spec seats, as they have a decent reputation and FIA certs on some of their products.
For other affordable options, Corbeau has a lot of offerings that are very reasonable.

I've been in a couple cars with off-brand seats, they are garbage. Poorly made, poor materials.
The C5 is a tight fit in the base of the seat as well. Corbeau has A4's, FW1Pro, and Evolution X that are all 350-400 each, fit, and well made. I recently installed Evolution X and could not be happier.

I agree with not going with really cheap seats. Go with a name brand like Corbeau or Sparco or something like that. May be more expensive, but in the long run will be worth the cost.

Thanks guys. I'm looking at evo's, the recommended corbeau's and sparco. More then likely it will be a winter project as money is going towards suspension upgrades, and motorcycle upgrades, track, and lapping days....it's a disease fak!

not sure about 10, the 10 or the x is a bigger car with visually wider seats
the evo seats are the best quality seats you can put in a c5 and also safe. OEM's have to meet crash standards and the evo recaros were obviously OE mitsubishi
in other news, i have always wondered how the c5 seats met crash safety. they really are kind of a flimsy seat
