Have a question related to this, not trying to hijack the thread how often do plug wires need to be changed should it be done every time you change plugs?

One reason many change wires when they change plugs (50-100,000 miles) is there is a good possibility the wires will get broken when trying to remove them. I just changed mine a couple of weeks ago to the AC Delco Iridiums and red GMPP wires at just under 60,000 miles. A few of my wires broke trying to remove them. I put Dielectric grease on my plugs/wires but who knows what the next 50-100,000 miles will do to it?

Good point I didn't think about that. Plugs in my vette are great but need to replace on my silverado.

A winning combo. The gmpp red wires are cheaply built in Mexico. I was disappointed in the quality.
