Every single day, on the news tonight said in the last 42 days it has rain 36 days. MY car is dirty, got tired of cleaning, then go out and drive in the rain.
Driving in yesterday rain.

You're going to have a fun time polishing CCW's lol. Main reason my car doesn't see any of the wet stuff.

Surprised the car hasn't shrunk down to the size of a Hot Wheels car by now.

ftfy.

If I didn't drive my car in the rain, it would only be driven about 2 months a year.

Just think how privileged those rain drops must have felt - getting one of the cleanest C5 around dirty!

Seriously, I feel your pain...happened to me today too, but on my DD Malibu that I had just washed/detailed over the weekend.

Trying to get my head around the fact that I will likely be driving the Vette in the rain heading to the NCM 20th Anniversary Celebration in August. Murphy won't miss that opportunity for sure.

I guess I can take solace in the fact that there will be many, many folks with much, much nicer Vettes than mine getting wet too...

Bass boats are fiberglass. Corvettes are fiberglass. Coincidence? I think not.

Are wipers considered a mod? Where's the control button?

I get out at the red lights with some soap and wash it until the light turns green. Instant rinse so no soap stains.

LMAO…. those are some awesome responses! Don't want to wash her underware… bahahahaha

Yes, it does rain at some point usually late afternoon nearly everyday during the summer. The only question is how hard are you going to get hit. It can downpour a mile up the road yet hardly sprinkle where you are or vice-versa. I don't freak out if I get caught in the rain but I admit I am one of those guys that doesn't use my C5 as a DD so if I know it's going to rain i'm probably going to leave it in the garage or plan to be back home before it starts. Biggest thing here though isn't so much the fact of the car getting dirty is that we have such a high concentration of tourist and elderly on our roads that can only barely navigate their vehicle in ideal conditions. Toss a little rain in to the mix and it all goes south very quickly

However I had a club thing last night to go to last night though and didn't want to be the schmuck that shows up in my SUV so my baby got wet.

was wondering what the odd stick on the side of the column was one day and BAM look at that! this thing even comes with real wipers I rainx the daylights out of the windshield so I really don't even need them actually when i'm moving it can be better without them sometimes.

Ha… thanks man. But there are lots cleaner and nicer than mine too. That drive sounds like it'll be well worth getting a little dirty for. I don't see anything wrong with taking pride in you ride and doing everything you can to try to keep clean especially if you don't have to/choose to use it as your DD.
