Default NEVER EVER Take This Forum For Granted!

I know folks have said this before but I don't think it can be said enough. This forum is a plethora of awesome knowledge and has saved so many folks so much time and money when it comes to issues with our Vette's!

Just today for example, I was changing the engine compartment hood light and got an arc which blew a fuse. Of course the manual is not awesome at giving information (in fact told me it was a relay, not a fuse). So I turned to the forum and typed in C5 Hood Light and within 5 seconds had the answer:

"Fuse box in the foot well. The one marked accessory. I think #2 10 amp. It's the same circuit as you visor mirror vanity light. Mine went out a while back. Drove me crazy trying to find it until I went to shut the garage via my homelink in the visor which is connected to the vanity light."

I figure that alone saved a trip to a mechanic and at least 30 minutes of time at $45.

Thank you everyone for sharing your wonderful knowledge and incredible experience allowing us all to enjoy our hobby!

Agree 100%.This forum is where i did most of my research while searching for a Z06.This forum is where i found a mint car at a fair price and the good members here are very helpful as some of them know every nut and bolt on the C5.Even if something is beyond my skill level i know i will get good advice as to the how and where to go.Thank you to all the fellow members.

Amen. Just yesterday I fixed the dim display on my Auto Climate Control A/C following the directions contained in the How To Sticky in Tech. My wife was very impressed.

Kudos to some of the long term guys for their wealth of knowledge and eagerness to help.

I would mention names but I don't want to slight anyone by leaving them out!

Thanks to all!

I totally agree. I was a regular in the C3 section for a few years and have recently bought a C5. The tips and knowledge available here have saved me tons of aggravation, time and money.

I'm a member on other forums for other vehicles I own and none of them is as helpful as this one.

I agree. I love this forum and it's the best one I've ever been on. The other day I needed to change the passenger window motor and regulator and having never done that before was rather nervous. But I just followed some directions I found on here and within an hour I had a working window!

Agree with all above. The forum is a wealth of knowledge. My projects would have taken many hours and many dollars more without this place.

Well... I can say I have saved hundreds of dollars because of this forum But I have also spent thousands of dollars when I find all the kool aftermarket stuff people have on their cars that I end up wanting too... CCW's, double din radio, blower, headers, exhaust.... just to name a few

There certainly are some amazing members in here that have gone the extra mile and then some to help others spend more time cruising and less time diagnosing issues.
They know who they are, and I'd also like to say thank you to all of them, for taking the time.
