Default Sooo, I guess are C5's aren't cool enough!!!!!

I would say the last few times I came across a C6 and gave a corvette enthusiast wave I got no response, not even a look (the ride was in plain view) as if, "oh your in a C5 pppssssttttt... has anyone else gooten the same response?? I think the next time im going to have to embarass them!!!!!

As each generation continues, it seems fewer owners are enjoying the experience.
Try driving a C4 and watch how many C5s pass by without a wave.

I have a lot of the c7 guys waving at me. I wave at all the corvette guys old or new. The younger c6 guys my age and younger are the ones that are to cool lol. I even get the I have an ls3 c6 younger guys flying up on me from time to time thinking a c5z easy kill until I drop into 2nd gear and they realize it's really f22 lol! No seriously most corvette drivers wave I notice it's the young corvette drivers that most of time don't.

I've ridden a Harley for over 30 years, always waved at anyone on any kind of a bike. I started riding a Kawasaki to work a few years back and it amazes me how many Harley riders don't wave back when I am on the Kawasaki. SSDD....

I have only had the opposite experience. Only one older c6 guy gave me a wave (he initiated very enthusiastically as I was changing gear, which made me hurry up so I wasn't driving with no hands). And I kind of had a forced wave from a woman in c6. Other than that no wave backs from c4, 5, or 6s.

I try to wave at all vettes, but sometimes fail. OOPS, don't mean to insult. just happens that I do not see them in time. I also ride a Gold Wing and try to wave at all bikes, some wave back, some don't, no worries for me. I just like to wave.

I get waves from all year Vettes, young and old drivers. Sometimes I am distracted or don't see it in time and don't wave but I try to wave at them all. It might be the case with non wavers.

I only wave at people I know. Rode Harley's for 23 years and never waved at anyone I didn't know. I don't wave at fellow Vette owners either but if I see one at the icecream shack or anywhere for that matter I always go over and chat.
Waving is goofy!

I do my part with the wave. If other owners don't, then too bad for them. I won't lose any sleep over it, but too bad they do not carry on the tradition.

Probably depends on the area, in the Dallas area a lot of vette drivers don't wave, but, if I am outside the city area on my bicycle, I get a lot of waves! LOL But, those people would wave if I were driving a piece of junk as well.

A respectful enthusiast will return a wave...don't expect every vette owner is respectful.

you're right about dallas haha... I will get a wave every now and then from the more modified vettes but the waxers never seem to wave or pay attention... if they wave I'll wave back but if they don't then I don't either, it really doesn't bother me either way
