I'm getting ready to do the clay bar thing and try to get a better shine on my car.been reading lots of threads on different wax.now I'm so confused on which to buy.what do all of you think is the best for the shine.

Clay it and fix the paint before waxing it. Paint correction followed by sealant and then the wax of your choice to make it truly stunning.

I didnt care for Zaino myself on the Torch Red. The Pinnacle Sourveran is awesome on darker colors such as red and black. The Fuzion is simply amazing stuff and the only wax I will use!

I caught Collinite from Sally Mitchel, it did last a long time, even after the injections . Talk about being cheap.. There was no cheer leader more cheap than Sally

Car looks great in both photos, but actually looks wet with the Pinnacle Souveran. And if you can see the difference in a little photo imagine the difference you would see in real life.

Souveran is not just for dark cars. I use it on my speedway white C5 and it is amazing!

If you ask eight corvette owners what the best wax for the money is you will get 10 different answers.

There are a lot of good waxes and many consider Souveran too expensive and therefore have never tried it. Those that have will put Souveran at the top of the list.

I just clay barred and waxed my 01 with Mothers clay bar and synthetic paste wax and I really like the results easy on and off and very deep shine plus the wax was only $14 and you can get it at your local auto parts store or Walmart

I like Mothers..easy to apply and looks great on a BLACK Corvette. (moderator removed pic...it was too shiny) again it depends on the color of your Corvette.
