Brakemotive sent the wrong pads
I ordered the front/rear rotor/pad kit from them and installed them today. I noticed that in the box with the FRONT rotors there were the REAR pads. In the box with the REAR rotors were larger pads I assumed to be the fronts. I did the rear first and everything went smooth. Then I get to the fronts and realize they sent me the wrong pads. There is no rear clip on the new ones like my old ones have. The tongues on these pads were also different. The would not fit in the caliper brackets. I was so pissed. I left a message with them and hopefully they call tomorrow as they should be open. Has anyone had any customer service experience with them? For now I'm rolling around on new front rotors with old pads.

Last Monday I changed out my rotors and calipers with a package set that I purchased from Brakemotive on eBay. Everything was fine until trying to mount the left front caliper. They sent the wrong mounting bracket. I immediately called their toll free number and talked with customer service. They said they would send the right one with a return shipping label, I got it today. Meantime I went ahead and temporarily reassemble everything using my old bracket so I could drive it this weekend. Now I've got to re-do my project on Monday. To say I was PO'd would be an understatement.

They use FedEx standard shipping free to the customer. You'll no doubt have to pay for upgraded shipping even though it was their mistake. They told me they would ship it right out. Stupid me, I expected rapid shipment after explaining my situation. I told them I could not drive the car until I got the right part. Finally after the third day I recontacted them to find out what was taking so long and learned it was shipped FedEx standard.

I bought their drilled and slotted rotors and pads a while back. They sent me 2 left rear rotors but the boxes were marked left & right. Dummy me I didn't notice it till I had them mounted. They exchanged it and the turn around was pretty fast.

Seems to me they have had plenty of time to get you a correct set of pads. I'd be on the phone raising hell with them at this point, especially since it was their mistake.

Similar issue here....Bought rotors and pads. The rear rotors had the wrong ones in the box (someone transposed a digit) so I got Mini Cooper rotors. They wouldn't expedite shipping but sent the correct ones out. I did have to call twice to get the return shipping label.
Overall I am happy with the product and their customer service.

Narco944, I opted for Stoptech pads when I did my brakes, but the Brakemotive rotors were less expensive than other rotors even with their pads.
Bottom line, I have a set of Brakemotive pads sitting on my bench unused. PM your address to me, cover shipping and you can have mine.

So I guess they sent out the "right" pads today. I opened the box and it was STILL the wrong pads! I lost my mind on their customer service. I have that set that our fellow member is sending me so I'm just going to use them. WORST customer service ever. The employees putting the orders together must be blindfolded.

Just curious. Did you get the wrong part number pads or were they the wrong parts inside the box? On the boxes, were the pad part numbers 16-731 and 16-732 for their evolution pads?

Have a friend that went through this a few years back on his C4. Slightly different issue as it was quality control on the rotors and different pads than he had ordered. Standard pads vs upgraded ceramic pads. Three sets of rotors and pads later he had a complete, proper set of rotors and pads for his car. At that time they didn't even want him to ship the incorrect pads and rotors back. It only took a little over five weeks for him to get what he had ordered.
