Default Thank you

To everyone. I have to admit I enjoy the car a lot, and I like the welcome I am getting in here. I am learning a lot too, about my new hot rod. Its going to be a project, learning about it, so I can troubleshoot it, and know what is going on. I have heard that the C5's have their issues, and I am already starting to go through that. I have already figured out that the previous owner didn't do much to it, just drove it. I seafoamed it last weekend, and that helped a bunch. Now its just to get the sensors from giving me engine codes. Any advice you guys have is appreciated. I come here first, do searches, and try to figure out what is going on. All I can say is, I love the car, but like any used car, you don't know where its been, what it has done, or what has been done to it. Cheers

The yellow highlights in the interior really set this car off!

I had to admit, I was disappointed. My Z28 handled better than it. A LOT BETTER! I was thinking of sinking $20,000 into it, and fixing the only thing that was really wrong with it. It wasn't manual. To make a long story short, she convinced me to look around here, and I saw this one. I was about fifteen minutes into the drive, after a very long inspection. I was starry eyed I guess. I just couldn't get it out of my head. I bought it. No complaints so far.
Belcriss,

Your car looks great and I'd have a grin every time I started it up also. Welcome aboard and keep enjoying your new ride.

Thanks Carcrisis. It won't be a problem enjoying it, I love the rumble from the motor, the smell of the leather when you first get in. We don't really need to get into the power do we?

I was curious on where you got the Indy 500 crests for the seats but I'm guessing you bought the car with them already there.

Welcome and congrats!

Did the owner give you a list of the mods on paper?

If so can you list that for us? Cam, LT headers, mufflers etc?

Did he give you the Dyno sheet tuning that was done for the mods he performed?

Did he tell you what the Dyno results were?

Heads up for you but the 2001+ all came the the LS6 manifold already so he probably didn't add that!

Thanks,Matt
