Default Wash then clay bar & polish ZAINO!?!?!?

Hey everyone, so i have been wanting to clay bar and polish my vette make here smooth as glass again. Looking for tips and or experiences with claybars this will be the first time for me. Im debating on trying this process myself or simply playing the professional. Time is money for me and not sure if i want to dedicate an entire day to spit shining up the old girl. Also looking for recommendations for professional detail shops in San Diego area that i can take my car too for this work. thanks for the help!

Claybar is really easy, I bet you could do your whole car in under 2 hours and another hour or so to Zaino it.

Claybar is extremely simple and easy to use. it is a minor addition to waxing, but produces excellent results.

While paying a shop to detail your car may be "easier", I doubt anyone can do a better job than you, and just think of the satisfaction factor!

After a good cleaning. You can leave the car wet. Run your hand over the surfaces for imperfections. clay while still wet. does not need to be a long process. Dry, polish.. Nice dry day will take a couple hours. They get like this after a few coats of zaino

Wash your car with Dawn Detergent to remove all the wax and while the car is still wet you can claybar but if it starts to dry and it becomes diffcult to drag the bar over the body you can spray a little detailing spray on it as a lube....took me all of about 20 minutes....some Z-5 to hide the minor scratches then a few coats of Z-2 for the deep wet look...see what I mean !!

I just finished mine up yesterday. I did the Dawn wash followed by Meguiars clay bar, then used my 7424 Porter-Cable on orange pad Meguiars 105 then white pad Meguiars 205, followed by Hi-Temp Products Midnight Express Sealant Wax. This was my first time using clay, and it was very easy to do. The finish is now super smooth from what it was. did the baggie test before and after.
