Post Pics of Painted or Powdercoated CCW's
As the title states, please post pictures of your painted or powder coated CCW wheels. I know there's already a CCW club thread, but I'm only interested in seeing custom finishes on CCW wheels. I love my set of CCW 505a wheels, but after the lengthy sanding/polishing sessions, I dread having to polish them continuously. I'm also interested in doing something different with the wheels to give them a unique look.
I'm most interested in hypersilver, hyperblack, gunmetal, or black chrome finishes. I haven't seen many members with these finishes, but I know there are some out there... post them up!

I just recently had the centers on my girls Work VSXX refinished in hyperblack by the company that does them for CCW. I think all I might have is a few phone pics but they are darker in person that what you see in pics online. In person from a distance they pretty much look black.
Online the color looked more along the lines of a gunmetal color but is in fact darker IMO.
Im dealing with the samething right now. I have a set of brushed and polished classics on my Camaro SS and im tired of dealing with polishing the lips. Ill probably end up powdercoating the lips and leaving the centers brushed.

You're right, those do look almost black. I expected more of a gunmetal look. They look great, but I don't know if i'm looking for something that dark on my black car. I want the wheels to stand out more against the black paint.
I'm assuming those are painted? I'm still researching, but it looks like many powdercoaters are starting to use a multi-stage process to achieve 'hyper' or shadowed finishes like hypersilver/hyperblack/black chrome.
I wish I could find a reputable company in the Seattle area to black-chrome my wheels like these. I love the way black chrome looks in bright light.

They told me they powdercoat a primer, then they paint the hyperblack color and finally clear powdercoat over it. Black chrome is something I was looking into previously but it was just too pricey.

A few years back, I had a set of the CCW Classics on my car. I got the black anodized centers, then had them gloss black powder coated. I was thinking that "just in case" the powder coating got chipped, the surface below was still black....

USAZR1 - I really like the hypersilver finish on your wheels. Do you have any other pics from more of angle? I'm trying to see how they change color/darkness depending on the light.
tlove32 - thanks for posting that pic. the gloss black centers look really good on a silver car. If I go that route I'd lean towards satin black centers so they don't "blend" in too much with my black car.

Please post pics if you do!
Found the following pic in the "Club CCW" thread...I hope forum member ArrestMeRed doesn't mind me reposting a pic of his HyperSilver CCW's. I love this finish. I think I'm now leaning towards something a little lighter like these:
