If they total it, buy it back from the insurance co. and have those panels replaced.

Doesn't look near as bad as you described. I don't see that light hit damage causing the problem with your window not going down. Not enough impact to cause body alignment problems. Looks to me that you had those problems before the hit and I suspect the adjuster will say the same thing and just replace the door skin and quarter panel.

They're gonna total it. I had a similar hit in my car and the insurance company totaled it. They quickly cut me a check and i found a newer Vette.
If i were you, i would remove as many of the mods as you can and replace them with stock parts. They won't add money for the mods usually.

That silver car has a ton of frame and suspension issues - - -I can understand totaling it out.

But the blue Vette from the OP doesn't appear to have damage at the rear wheel area - - -they're going to want to check it on frame and alignment . .

Good luck to the OP - - looks like a beautiful car.

Good God man did you call that "Silver"??? It's pewter!!! hahaha

All kidding aside it sucks wither way man but if there is the slightest chance they do total it get ALL mods you can out (as previously mentioned) Mine was crashed out of town so I could not go get the audio video stuff and took a total loss on it. State Farm adjusted the upgrades for $500 but i had over 3k in it so.....and the Z06 suspension, shocks, CAI, etc etc zero adjustments

Yea, the body shop i took it to told me its fixable, but he also said rough estimate of 8000, i do understand it is an older vette and the insurance may not want to pay that much for an older vette to get fixed. Either way i will take off as much of my stuff back. So if anyone os interested in swappin out parts plus cash and are willing to drive out to marysville let me know. I will keep updating to see what happens.

So my insurance did not total the car, im glad they did not and body shop I took it to sprayed the entire car. My car's paint was already fading, thats how it was when I purchased the car from a small dealer. Now paint is new, got my wheels powder coated metallic grey, cars looking good.

Gotta love Lloyd Christmas...

...and NO, I'm not making light of the fact that your Vettes got hit. My point is that the thought of it makes me want to puke!!

Really love it, but my younger brother loves it more, so I may be selling it to him and I may be moving on to a C6 Z06 or a SS Camaro. Still contemplating.
