Default The beauty of this hobby

I've been involved in this wonderful Corvette hobby for over 20 years. One of the things that has impressed me the most is that our passion for Corvettes has something for everyone. I'm an "old school" guy myself and love "all original" cars but I also love to see the creative things that other folks do with their Vettes. The new wave of retro mods might seem odd to the purists but it's just another example of how our sport has something for everyone. I have a friend who put a blower in his classic "64 midyear. Although it made me cringe a bit, he's the happiest man on earth....and isn't that really the point of of our hobby?

Different strokes for different folks. And different bores too .

I appreciate a nice preserved piece of history, but I also like cars modded to reflect their owners personality. Some more than others, but that's OK. Nice to see variety, and maybe some off the wall ideas that you really like every once in awhile.

I like everything from original stock cars to highly modified. You're right, there is something for everyone in this hobby.

I've seen some resto mods from complete basket cases that have been just amazing. Nothing like an older car with all the modern touches!

It is indeed a very diverse hobby.

I, for one, enjoy the trend of putting an older Corvette body on a newer chassis. No way I'd ever be able to afford one, but some are very tastefully done.

I feel very fortunate to have had the privilege of owning a stock C2 ('65) for five years back in my younger days.
