Anyone else?
Seems like every place online sells it. But no one ever talks about it here?

I have wonder the same thing over the years. If it sounds anything close to what GMMG made for the LS1 f-body I would be ALL IN. I had that on my WS6 and it beat everything when pulling in for cruise night. All the old farts would come over wanting to know what I did. Hot Rod did and article on the Intimidator SS and said it made them feel like they had chiggers in their pants. I guess that says it all.

I completely agree, I had the GMMG exhaust on my 99Z28 Camaro and it sounded amazing. Probably the best sounding catback for the LS1 F-Body. As for as the Stainless Works chambered exhaust, it does sound good, I'd probably look into getting one as well if it sounds close as to what GMMG did on my Camaro. Too bad I will probably never hear it person.

We can honestly say the sound in the video is very accurate when you hear it in person. Yes, when you pull into the car show, it WILL turn heads, promise!!

SW - Your video shows the turbo chambered mufflers. I am interested and suspect the OP is too about your true chambered system (dimpled pipes only). Do you have anything to show on them?

As for drone I only have the GMMG experience and I had zero drone. My WS6 was a six speed too. I swear that exhaust was the best.

Chambered mufflers are supposed to be drone free from what I've read on the internet.

Why are you ignoring my question about drone?
Is the video the turbo chambered or just the dimpled chambered version?

I to asked the same question about the dimpled pipes and seeing it has been all day with no response bothers me. Being very interested in a supporting vendor's product and having the experience (GMMG) of know what I want and expect is troublesome. Silence is…. Not to bash or compare to others, SW is the only major manufacturer of a chambered system that I know of and I will not drop the $ prior to getting responses from them. FYI, if your not with SW or own the specific system I am interested in then your input is not valid.

But I did stay at a holiday in last night.

Something is valid when, it's consistent with the available evidence.

SW can you provide the following information?
Ask a current owner to chime in on the thread regarding your mufflers-
Are the internals of your muffler Louvered or perforated cores?
Do the turbo and dimpled muffler have the same internals?
Does one flow better?
Any sound differences?

Thanks....

Sorry couldn't find a video to show the sound. We use our retro-chambered muffler (round tubular mufflers with dimples) on many of our late model applications with huge success. Specifically we use them exclusively on the 5th Gen Camaro, customers love the sound as its mild when you want it to be and wild when the throttle is pinned. In all the vehicles I have drove with our retro chambered mufflers experienced no drone.

Sorry for the delay in responding to this thread. Due to the nature of the retro-chambered mufflers, you shouldn't experience any drone and we say this very cautiously as there are many other factors that determine drone, such as engine configuration, tune etc.... As you all know, a stock motor carries a different cam spec versus a highly modified 400+ cubic inch motor and their exhaust not will vary due to exhaust flow, VE efficiency, fuel curve etc..

The video posted shows our Turbo-Chambered mufflers.

The internals to our Retro-Chambered and Turbo-Chambered mufflers are both louvered, they are the reason for the classic muscle car sound. The Turbo-Chambered version will be quieter due to the larger muffler body (5" tall, 9" wide, 14" long) versus the Retro-Chambered 3" body mufflers. The sound will be similar, but as noted quieter with larger bodied Turbo-Chambered mufflers. The Retro-Chambered is a 2.5" system and flows extremely well for its size and would be really loud in a 3" version. The 3" Turbo-Chambered offers excellent flow while maintaining a civilized exhaust note at idle/cruising but opening up for increased sound at full throttle, this change in tone is due to the louvered core. Customers have noted the sound is classic muscle car, but at full throttle its entirely exotic sounding.

We have contacted a few owners of these systems, looking to receive some current feedback on each of the systems.
