The shop that quoted me 650 said that wasnt with seals, retainers, seats or anything. Just spring replacment.

Where can I find the PAC kit, if one exist. Or what and where can i find all needed conponents.

How about percision race component springs?

What cam are you planning to go with? That makes a difference in which springs you select. FYI: I had a broken PRC dual spring shortly after I bought my car without ever hitting redline; nothing definitive on the cause, just putting it out there. Also, if you're going to cam the car, why mess with it now when you are just going to have to go back in to change pushrods when you do cam it?

Yes I do all my own work. Tuning is being done with Hp tuners via a guy in Texas.
Seals are cheap and spring replacement should only take at most 2 hours.

Oh, all right. Well, in that case, figure out which PAC spring you would like to go with and track down a kit (I just Googled around a bit and found kits for pretty much all of their springs). I never bought springs for the stock cam, so I can't help you there. Buy the kit and the compressor tool and go for it

Am i reading correctly that you resuse everything with the pac 1518's? Seals, seats, retainers? Just pop springs in and thats it?

Bumping for last question.

Looks like this is my order:

PAC 1218 valve springs
Valve seals
MSD wires
Tr55 plugs
GM valve cover gaskets.

Autozone for the plugs and wires. GM seems to ve cheapest for gaskets at 15.xx a piece. Any suggestions on where to get the rest? Am i missing something, should i get a different part?

Just got my car back from my buddy. I feel so much better knowing the springs are changed. Ill post the pics he took shortly but he said it was very clean in there, no sludge on anything.

Btw, i thought the factory springs were dual springs

My experience with my LT headers / Mid and stock Ti's is that is not that noticeable while at idle or cruise but when you put your foot into it - another story.

I want to remove the stock Ti's exhaust and go aftermarket but the weight of the stock Ti's is hard to beat - so damn light its ridiculous
