Default Exhaust Questions on 2004

I recently traded my 1984 in for a 2004. I had the 1984 for about 4 years. I am not sure what type of exhaust it had but it had a great sound. A nice throaty rumble. The 2004 just doesn't have that rumble. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get that throaty rumble? I am hoping it won't cost too much!
Thanks!

I am partial to Borla and Magnaflow. Both have that deep rumble that I loved in my 68. Many years ago, I got in on a group discount for Borla Stinger cat-backs for $550. However, they are now double that cost, I believe. Check out some YouTube videos for some sound comparisons.

Check out the offerings from Corsa. I have the Indy Pace Car system on mine (now called the Sport I believe) and love the sound.

Welcome to C5, you should love your 04.

You could consider a C5 Z06 titanium Cat Back. It's a direct bolt on, and will never rust. It is quite a bit lighter, than stock, as well.

It has a little more of a deep 'throaty' sound, than a stock cat back. Most consider it a nice upgrade.
I recently found a good low mileage one for sale on the forum (in C5 parts for sale), and like it. I like that it's not too loud.

good luck,
Don

Have a magnaflow magnapack on mine love sound nice deep rumble it came with the x pipe and cost less then most sets with just the mufflers. There's some drone at 75 on the highway otherwise it's as quiet as stock from inside unless you stomp on it.
