Most every time these polls are done the Hardtop wins.
I prefer the hardtop and it's the only C5 I would be interested in. Not a fan of hatchbacks myself. As far as hatchbacks go, I like the C4 looks better than the C5 hatchback.

I bought a coupe because I like it's lines the best. But if I ever trade up to a C6 or C7 I'd probably go Vert. I thought I'd enjoy taking the targa off a lot more than I actually do with my coupe; the buffeting makes it pretty unbearable. Seems like most of the Vert owners say full-on top down cruising is pretty sweet.

Like most I think the vert looks best with the top off. They lose alot when the top is on. If I lived in great weather year round city the vert would be at the top of list. I would lose the top all together. I have never been a fan of the FRC. I can't imagine driving a vette around with a solid roof. For me the coupe is the best of the lot. I looks great with or without the top off and it has the best all around design. When I think of a vette I think of a coupe. Nuff said.

I've had a glass top targa and my current vert. Both have + and - but I'm glad I upgraded to the vert. Its a whole new world when that top comes down (which is WAY easier then removing the glass top and storing it in the back which I alway's hated to do.
I also take issue with "no vert looks good with the top up". I happen to love my tan top on navy blue paint looks sharp.

Shocking isn't it!?! No one has posted, I hate my car, I wish I had got a....... I agree with a lot of the comments being made and some not so much. I would own one of each if I had the money to make it happen, but I had to make a choice of what was right for me and very happy with my decision.

I had a '99 Nassau Blue 'vert that was great fun, and looked great. I agree, sports cars should have a drop top. Not a fan of the coupe. Think the lines look too much like all the other fast back cars.
I now have a Z and do like the lines of the hardtop, and the added performance.
Now, if I win the powerball It would be 2015 C7 Z06 convertible. That sounds like the best of the vert and the best of the Z.
