Wow, are you upset little pardner?
I would appreciate if other members didn't poke this angry poster with any sticks, and just let him either continue to show us his intelligence and or contribute other positive comments or negative ones for that matter. He may have made up his mind to be the one guy who has the responsibility to set guys like me straight and encourage me to pursue a new career in the circus!!!!

No....he's just trying to save the world from a guy like me. It's Ok, kinda like the guy on the beach trying to save all the Starfish.
Insulting me and or my taste is no biggie....as long as he's not actually shooting at me he's harmless.

You know, you're right. My mistake. All the different textures, gloss levels and shades of red really come together to make one classy looking interior. Just when you think you are in a Mercedes Benz inside, bam, black and white checkers to show you this is one serious racing machine. Kudos my friend. Keep up the outstanding work to make one example of a C5 that will never, ever, ever be duplicated

Maybe Black 02 could glue the starfish he pick's to his Vet's interior; well after painting them black of course. You know, like a "classy" Mercedes starfish edition?

The little old model vette on the intake says it all..."old guy style"....
Not hatin, just definitely...overdone imo as well. Your car is styled after a 50's doowop diner...lol. Not really...C5 era if you ask me....but you sure went all in with it. It's your car though...

I don't have any trouble with any negative remarks in this thread, or any opinions stated that may go counter to my theme on the car. That's what is great about customizing your car to suit what you or I want in it. I have too many trophies and whatnots to fill a room to even be able to get in the room, had to move them out, must have been close to 50. So it does say that people in general LOVE IT as I do.
I'm not a cookie cutter stock kinda guy and when my car goes down the street it draws lots of attention, the very reason I love to own one. I get plenty of calls from others to bring my car to events for publicity photos so I guess it's not too shabby to be seen with.
Thanks for all the positive comments, and even the career advice to work in the circus! RLOL!

here lately I've read a lot of very negative statements from various members, I know it's a public forum, but what ever happened to having a Little class, with the wide swing in age opinions will always be different.

Rick, your car looks great. And if you ever decide to run away and join the circus, let me know since it seems my car has been labeled as a circus car too.

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism. I still maintain his interior would look a lot better with more contrast thrown in instead of everything being bright red or checkers. The one thing, in my opinion, that makes it "too red" is the steering wheel. If the steering wheel was black, the checkers were gone, floor mats matched the carpets and the doors were black and red only, the interior would be money.
Going through with more real leather wrapping, in red, would also really class it up. As of now, there are too many textures and different finishes of red. Once everything is done like the A-pillars, it'll be extremely nice.
If you want to call me a hater, or say I have no class, go ahead. Constructive criticism never hurt anyone and what fun is a forum where everything posted results in a "looks good man!!!!"?
For the record, my Pontiac G8 had black and red interior, so I have nothing against the use of red inside of a car
Here is an example of proper contrast and use of red in an interior:

You can try and change the focal point of your insults but it's out there in black and white already. If you want me to believe you were only trying to be constructive you didn't know how when you typed the insults then.
The checkered thing isn't that big a deal, since we have vendors who sell the stuff as well as other forum members who also paint their rides in a similar theme.
You may not be all that familiar with guys who customize their own rides, which may or may not give reason to your posts. How I go about doing my ride one project at a time is of NO business of yours or subject to tactic approval by your authority.
You are certainly entitled to bitch about whatever you find offensive and point your all knowing finger at whatever flaws you deem important.
My car is always a work in progress and isn't perfect or the BEST in the world by any means, only good enough for me.
Thanks for you continued efforts to highlight what you think is best.
