Default Finished my winter project

I last posted about my car in this thread

"How's your winter project coming"

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...ct-coming.html

I have since finished it and have it back on the road with the improved weather.

I added some red and blue 1/4" pinstriping to the black stripes and am going to paint them on soon.

Also went with some carbon fiber for the interior and a Windrestrictor .

In the trunk I added chrome hinges and struts and some stainless steel pieces around the perimeter.

The car is shiny and clean but came out a little flat on the exposure however it shows up the stripes well

I think it came out great

I spent over 100 hrs on it over the winter plus there was the 100 hrs I put in before over the summer mostly on the stereo and interior.

I also got these 18/19" wheels which will be going on soon.
May get the Wilwood 14" big brakes later.

Very nicely done and good choice in the wheels.

It's a vinyl sticker you put on using a hair dryer

The logo on the trunk liner came with it.

I have the RK Sport ones.
I like the smooth look.
They were less ridiculously expensive at 300.00 than some of the other ones for 400.00+
Had to cut the hole in the windshield washer cover for the cap
which was no big deal for handy me.
I guess they presume if you put a gallon of fluid in there it will last a long time, and undoing the screws to remove the cover to refill it only takes a minute.

Calipers are still blue

they just didn't show up as well in the latest pics
but here they are although the exposure came out a bit funny.
They are Ford high heat engine paint.

I also added this Autozone available underhood LED lighting on a switch since my factory wire died.
