Default What I've done to my Corvette so far

Well I finally got to do a little bit of mods to the old girl. I added GS rims 19x12 rears & 18x10 fronts, wow I can't believe how good it looks like a whole different car. I also added the BB exhaust, love it sounds like what to me it should like. Near future will be CAI and am thinking a live tune. Name: 002.jpg

Very nice! Can't beat that rear end look. What size tires you running and do you have any rubbing issues. I'm assuming your car is stock height?

Good looking car but do the wheels/tires stick out past the wheel well opening? Just curious since those are much wider wheels than stock.

Thank you. I know the rear nice and fat love it. yes stock height around here am better off I scrape now as it is. The tires are Nitto Invo 325/30/19 & 275/35/18. No rubbing at all. The rear has about 1/2" clearance from rubbing in the inside. The front has about 1/4" from rubbing on the front it's self but no rubbing at all.

Thank you. They stick out about 1/2". My near future plan is rear fenders with the 2" flare and a 1" spacer on the rear. The front is flush, just the rear that barely sticks out. I however like it just like it is, but I am thinking about the above mods in the future. I do also like the 2" flare with the 1" spacer.

Thanks. Am not sure, I do like a bit lowered since it would fill the fender well more, but here where I live I scrape now and then and lowering it would be even worse. So not sure on that yet.

The color of the wheels is almost a perfect match for your car, very cool!

However, the car needs to be lowered a bit and the wheels looks like they stick out past the fenders a tad. Stock offset GS rims I'm assuming. Add some C6 Z06 style splash guards and it won't be as noticeable.

yes it's almost a perfect match. I have seen some with the Zo6 splash guards and it looks good, but I think am going to go with the 2" fender flare fenders and a 1" spacer.

Thanks I used to be a big fan of chrome, but as I have gotten older I want to just wipe and go too much work with chrome for me.

That will look hot!

You may still want the splash guards to protect the fresh paint on those wide fenders

Looks great! I'm leaning towards some GS rims for my pewter Vert as well. Could you post some pics with the top down?
