Hey GMFan, your's looks nice and familiar!!!
From last month, here's my own homemade version...
[/URL]
The matte Carbon Fiber is cut from a 12"x48" roll I got on ebay, and the tan outline (that matches my roof and seats) is from a pinstripe roll I already had.
Fun Fun Fun with my (first) C5 Vert I bought about 2 months ago.....

Very nice and subtle look you have there. Can you tell me how wide those are? I have some carbon fiber vinyl I would like to try that with. Great looking car.

Background info: I bought my C5 2 months ago from a (really nice) retired gentleman, but I'm trying a few things to make it "younger".... .
My homemade faux vent appliques are removable and only cost about $2 in materials.... So lighten up. No "hate" needed here.
Will I leave them on forever, probably not, but as a low cost visual design study I think its serving a purpose right now.
To answer Chasboy's question, traditional pin stripe material is about the same thickness, so it fits pretty well as an outline around the Carbon sheets. Don't overlap or put the pin stripes on top - I don't think they would stick as well. FYI: don't forget to prep the area with a quick wipe with rubbing alcohol.
I'm actually planning on painting my calibers Red soon, and then I'll convert the fender hash outlines to red too, and maybe remove the faux vents entirely or at least remove their tan outline.
So, to me its all just a fun low cost temporary design study... No haters please!

yeah dude... as Quintenblackvette says, you're too harsh. 10 yard penalty for unnecessary roughness!

I used the Duplicolor(I think) kit on my Xterra. It did a nice job and I left the wheel on. Needs more than one coat to last tho'.
Btw, I like the tan. Reason I went tone on tone, and this is just my taste, is that red/black is done a lot. All of my accent lighting is blue, just to make a change.
