Default NT 05's in the rain

Aren't any worse than original Goodyears. Ran through a serious thunderstorm early last summer shortly after getting the Nittos and did not have much trouble except during the heaviest downpour. Since traffic was heavy with lots of semis, I slowed an stayed in the right lane until the storm abated. Once the worst had passed, I was able to get back to appropriate rain speeds with no concerns.
Also had them on track at Bondurant last October - traction was good and tires were predictable.
Hope this helps.

So can you get the nittos in stock sizes or no? What about Goodyear eagle F1s that came with it?? Are they still available?

Rears are available in stock size 295/35/18 but fronts the closest is 275/40/17. They fit very well though, don't bulge at all and maintain the correct .5 difference in height from back to front. The GY f1's are still available but someone reported here recently he got tires that were already 2 years old when he ordered a 'new' set. I doubt GY is selling many of them these days so the ones they do make are sitting longer. Plus they are the most expensive tire option out there and they are not the best tire in terms of performance these days.

Can't find nittos in that size on the rack of tire, any other recommendation?

I recently switched from the Falken Azenis I bought it with in 315/275 to the Conti DWs in 295/275 and the difference was night and day. These tires are fantastic on wet pavement.

Discounttiredirect.com has them. Summit racing carries them as well.

If you are looking for Nitto NT05's, see my earlier post in this thread (#11).

Rained this week heavily. NT05's seemed much better than the stock F1's in the rain. I buy from Summitracing and had local shop put them on for me.

I have KDW's 275/295, mostly because the 295 rears were on the car when I bought and relatively new, so I bought fronts to match. I have no gripes, but no real super high praise for them either. I've seen some people complain about noise, I don't have any issue yet. They're fine for me on the street, but I generally drive pretty easy on the street anyway. They'll be replaced due to age long before I wear them out I'm sure. I think TireRack has a $50 rebate on sets of BFG's till the end of the month.

No experience with any of the others, sorry.
