Just installed mine half an hour ago, and was a clean install with no problems or codes. Not that I expected any. Thanks Chip for the great service.

I'm looking into purchasing an intake. How does this compare to lets say the SLP Blackwing?

For a 2000 your only option with Airaid is the warhead filter.

The truth is ay intake will flow more air than the car can use

Thanks Chip, delivered yesterday and installed today. The Mrs. and I went for a drive afterwards. On a side note I hadn't been under to look at the radiator for awhile looked like we brought half of Indiana foliage to Florida when we moved last month.

Love my Airaid CAI. Went with the blue dry filter and Airaids air bridge.

I have a 99 base model and from what I read on the link, I may be confused, I can only use the filter attached to the factory air bridge?? Is this true? I'm trying to see the benefit of spending the money just to change the filter itself

Correct...

Much less air restriction with that setup over the OEM air box.
The OEM air box is restrictive and is slow in delivering air on demand.

You will see better throttle response and gas mileage

Hell, I like dealing with Chip so much, that I may throw away my perfectly good Blackwing just so I can buy one of these babies!
