I just saw a story on the news that the sailor in the ORIGINAL PHOTO from 1945 has passed away.

That's one of the most famous photos of WW II. And a great job of capturing it in a painting.
Even more apropo to memorialize that as the sailor just passed away.

Question for those with car art like that -
If and when you ever sell the car, do you keep that or let it go with the car? And have to add on the value of it.
What do you do for insurance? That is a work of art which you bought, not only an accessory for the car. Is that also insured, separately, or added to the value of the car in case of a loss?
It's almost a shame to keep those paintings hidden under the hood.

My work is centered around the Veterans, and being my Grandfather was a WW2 POA, I was in awe when I saw this statue in Chula Vista CA. He has done a remarkable job, and I'm one my way to get it! I am so excited!!

Thanks for all you do for our veterans, and a special thanks to your grandfather. It was a pleasure meeting you saturday. Your liner is definitely one of a kind!

Beautiful work, and the sailor from WWII, just past away last week here in Florida.
