Default Started my cam swap in -15c ....

I had a real nasty front seal leak, and because of the work involved I am going to do the cam also. I have about 4 hours in so far, another hour and the cam is out. Really sucks in the cold though...

It's a summit racing SFI 25% underdrive, and it's beautiful quality. Great deal at $169.00.

Holy crap, I hope you have a bigger pulley for your alternator, I'd be worried about your water pump too as that translates to a 25% reduction in speed on both of those. Why don't you get a small propane heater to run off a BBQ tank?

I think you mean smaller alternator pulley.A larger one would only turn it slower.

9 out of 10 guys who run a UD pulley will never experience any problems with battery charging, over heating, AC function, etc.... I had some reservation so about it when I did my heads/cam engine, but it's been out through hell for 5 yrs now, no issues....In any kind of weather...

Thanks,Matt

Thanks. The ASA cam is easy on the Valvetrain, with only .525 lift , but has 226 intake and 236 exhaust duration. The lobe center is 110. It's an Awsome cam that makes killer torque, but is dirty, real choppy idle, and supposed to be hard to tune. It also fits the budget.

WOW! 110 Lobe center!

Really looking forward to seeing the final tuning results, nice work thus far buddy!
