Good Price for 01 Coupe 6 Speed?
Hello all.
How much would you pay for a 2001 Z51 Coupe 6 Speed with 60k Miles?
I think it has a TPMS code for the front sensors. It does need all 4 tires. So hopefully changing the tires and rebuilding the TPMS will fix that problem.
The interior and exterior looks brand new. No blemishes. The only problem is the clear coat on one side of the red "Engine cover" is peeling for some reason.
All original. No modifications and in excellent condition.
And also what would you say is a fair price?

I was thinking $16k is fair for both parties?

Burning Brakes
I picked an '01 6-speed Z51 w/84,000 miles BB exhaust, vararaam intake, and new leather on the interior. Car also had new run flat tires. I paid $15,200. Paint was in really good shape for the age/mileage as well.
Based on what I got and the options I have you should be paying around the same price. New tires will run you about $6-800 if not more and if your TPMS needs replaced you're looking at a few hundred more dollars.
You also have to consider the age of the car. If you don't know when all the fluids were changed you will want to do that first thing. If you take it to the dealership you should expect to pay about $800-1000 for all fluids. So, if you pay $16,000 you will have $18-19,000 once all the initial maintenance is done. I think $15-15,500 is all I would feel comfortable paying. I would even be more inclined to pay $14,500 just because the TPMS and Tires need replaced.
I would only pay $16,000 if they were throwing in new TPMS and Tires.

That said- your thinking of $16-ish seems pretty much on target given the information - - photos would also help.
Good luck

I will agree that for a price of $16K, I would want new tires and the TPMS fixed.
For the OP, good luck in whatever you decide.

Melting Slicks
In November, I purchased my 01 Coupe 48K miles, non Z51, 1SC, all options, except Z51. Also, new tires, BB Bullets, Blackwing intake, and LED Halos In near perfect appearance for $17,363. It was originally listed for $19, 995, and due to winter I think I got a really good deal. Around here price is totally driven by Mileage unless damaged in some way...

By the way, there's a car I am looking at in KC (not a Vette). If the car happens to be near you then if you'd look at it for me I'd be happy to buy you a case of beer. PM if you think you may have the time and then I'd find out the location in KC.
EDIT - I notice that you are not in KC but rather Nevada so scratch that. Thanks anyway.

I am not sure what you mean. I am not looking for another Corvette right now but I follow the market daily and see list and sale prices. Perhaps some people throw out self serving numbers but I try to be realistic.
