Default C5 Seat Track Plastic Clevis

I'm looking for a plastic clevis that rides on the worm gear located on the seat track assembly. It seems like this small part is very difficult to find. Everyone I talked with wanted to sell me a totally rebuilt assembly when all I need is a ten dollar plastic part. I have no other issues with my seat, and don't want to spend $450.00 plus shipping to correct a minor problem.

I'm a new Corvette owner as of July 2013. I'm just getting my feet wet with this Pewter C5. If you can, please help locating a plastic clevis.

Regards,
Frank acepilotm20c

Are you talking about the "rocking seat" plastic parts? These are the 4 identical pieces in this link. Some vendors are white. Not sure what the original part color was.

Good Afternoon,

Thank You for taking the time to reply to my post. I've already done the "Rocking Seat Fix". The part I'm looking for is the plastic clevis that rides along the worm gear that controls the position of the seat along the track. They come in white or black colors. They screw into the worm gear, and are held in place by a pin that connects to a plate that controls the movement of the seat. Thank You so much for your time.

Ace, I've never seen that part, but if it rides along a worm gear, is it possible to cobble something together with a piece of delrin and a Dremel?

Hi Frank I think the part you are looking for is called the Rear Corner Mounting Bracket which the worm gear is held in place by a drift pin. You can find them on E-bay or contact Vette pros USA 704-320-0073 or Factory OEM Parts they are on e-bay they sell them in kits but they may work with if you if you only need that part, hope this helps.

Thank You so much for replying to my post. I was able to locate the part at Vette Pros. It's called either a yolk, or a clevis, that rides along the worm gear to move the seat. The guy who answered the phone knew exactly what I was talking about, and had the part on hand. He's going to ship it out tomorrow. Once again, Thank You for your help.

Very cool. When mine broke I couldn't find just the piece. I bought a track from a member here. Mine was white and crumbling. The replacement was black. Post up once you've completed the repair. I'm interested in the difficulty in just replacing the plastic part
