This Torque-Drive is some good stuff..my tranny is just getting better and better with this fluid in my transmission. .
As I said I couldn't tell no difference useing it in my 6mt infiniti g35.it still feels the same as the previous oil that was in there but amsoil did a good job comeing up with the Torque-Drive for the corvettes because I Immediately noticed the difference AND it has made my z06 a pleasure to Drive and calmed my nerves down because I thought my transmission needed a rebuild.
Im only talking about my great experience I had with it so if it dont work for you dont come blaming me hahaha..but I think people should give it a try on there next fluid change and see if it works for you the same way it has for me

[QUOTE=FruiTay;1586246975]If you get it from C66, its not any more expensive than Mobil 1 motor oil. $8 something a quart. Very worth it![/QUOTE
I wish I could but I live in the great white North and with the exchange rate & shipping it won't be worth my while.

All, sorry was on travel this week and offline except for email/PMs.
Answering several questions, comments above.
C5 Tranny: ~3.5 qts (Torque Drive comes in 1 gal bottle)
C5 Diff: ~ 1.7 qts (order 2 qts)
The Torque Drive is suitable for infrequently driven street cars. The viscosity of the Torque Drive meets the specification for our trannies which was Dexron III (since superseded but our owner's manuals all spec Dexron III). The Torque Drive shouldn't have any negative impact on synchros.
Tak06 - AMSOIL has distribution centers in Toronto and Edmonton. I sell to a lot of Canadian customers. It might not be as expensive as you might think. Drop me a PM with your address and what you'd like (best to group orders, e.g. tranny and diff vice tranny then diff) and I'll give you a quote.
For the Stage 2 T56 in the Camaro, I personally would use the Torque Drive, but can't promise it will completely cure your notchy shifting. The T56 is inherently notchy.

From Tremec's website:
"Q: Why use automatic transmission fluid in a manual gearbox?
A: Automatic transmission fluids provide the necessary protection and lubrication, while still allowing the synchronizer to function at its best."

I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread! I was just getting ready to change the transmission and rear diff fluid in my Z06 here when I get it out for the season. A lot of good comments/feedback in here about it. C66, I think I am gonna give the Amsoil a run here to see how it does for me.

And how much Slip lock would you recommend

Does anyone use the AMSOIL Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W-30 in their transmission? I use Mobll 1 ATF synthetic now and it works great.
