Plasti dipped the rear end today. It's a 20 footer...from 20 feet away it looks good. I have experience with plasti dip. The problem is I could not find pin stripe painters tape ANYWHERE. Home Depot, Lowes, auto part stores, Sherwin Williams. I had to buy actual pin stripes for a car. It worked great but damn I couldn't peel it off. It ended up jacking up the edges. I'll look online for actual tape and try again. FML

Today I installed the iSimple from DD Mods. Super easy and works great. I love it.

I also installed a short throw shifter and new ****. It's a universal style ****. I like the way it looks but something isn't quite right. It sits too high, I need to play with it some more.

The shifter has some play. You can twist the shaft side to side about .5". I need to check on that too.

Got the C6 wheels yesterday and had the TPMS switched from the wagons to the new ones. It's still on jack stands until I decide on how to mount the rear wheels. Not sure if I want to use spacers/longer studs or use adapters. Pics will be coming.

Just responded. The collar at the bottom of the shifter rattles on the shaft too. Not sure what's up with that.

Today I hoped to get my vararam installed. Nope. Never even opened the box.

I changed the oil, transmission fluid, rear diff fluid, painted my calipers, and removed the side moldings. All Mobil 1 synthetic.

Congratulations on the new car. It looks nice and getting better.

You have really been busy. Most people make mods over a period of time, but it seems like you have already made a lot of nice mods in the first few weeks you've had it.

Good Job!

Yeah, I usually go full tilt once I get a car. Noes the time since weather sucks and I can't enjoy it.
