Default Who carries a jack and tire plug kit in the trunk?

If you do, please share as to which brand/type of jack you're carrying in the trunk. I'm looking for ideas in case of a flat while traveling.

I carry a tire plug kit and a small air compressor in the car, but do not have a jack in there yet. Some here have used a small jack made by Mercedes and it works well while others have found small scissors type jacks to carry in the car. Will be watching this thread to see what responses you get.

New scissor jack from O'Reilly parts store. Plug kit. Compressor. Small wood ramp and tools to remove wheel and debris.
Basically filled up the center bucket.

The oem plug in tire pump along with a patch kit. Don't like the idea of filling my tire up with that goo stuff and about 4 months ago I got a 3" nail in the rear passenger tire so it was def needed.

Default What kind of kit?

Great topic! For those using them can you also talk about the kit you are using...brand, T handle or not, glue or not etc?

Good info, Jack!

I carry a plug kit with me if I am going on a long haul with the car. I've taken it from Jersey to Florida three times already and have had one flat along the way. The time that I did get a puncture, I was lucky.

My tire pressure sensor went off that my pressure was 25 psi so I turned off at the next exit that was maybe (the longest ) ten minutes. There happened to be a small store that had gas and inside I purchased a plug kit. Went out to the car, got the screw pointing to the rear, pulled it, plugged it and was on my way... I try to remember to keep one in the car - it's in there about 50% of the time.

Default I carry 1/2 that

Small air compressor, tire slime and plugs. When I bought my 02 Z06 that part wasn't there so I made my own kit.

Don't have a jack...but I don't have a spare either. A jack is great but either way you have to go get rescued if you need a tire!

My jack = wife's AAA

My road side emergency kit is Pistol, Phone, Plug kit w/small air compressor. NO JACK cause that's the flat bed operator's job if it's that catastrophic.

To much of a headache to worry about a flat. Run flats are the answer.

I just did a quick search on Ebay. Looks like a C Class. Prices look like $35 to $70.

I only carry jack, air compressor, tools, and tire plug kit for long distance drives. Around town, I'll let AAA take care of it.

I purchased this kit from TireRack when I bought my non-runflats from them.
