Default underbody pic of standard c5 exhaust vs z06 exhaust

underbody pic of standard c5 exhaust vs z06 exhaust
tried googling it but couldnt find a good comparison to verify what was exactly what.

found a place that has exhaust that supposedly came off a z06 and i currently have no mufflers so would like to tone it down a bit. Just want to make sure i get the actual z06 vs regular c5 exhaust so hoping to get some pics to make sure whatever we pick up is the real deal.

Thanks in advance

Don't have a pic, but they will be kinda bronze in color and weigh half of a regular catback.

If you pick it up, it will be extremely light weight.

And I love the sound of them on mine. I went from a Borla setup that sounded good, but I didn't like the 2 large tips. Now it sounds more like a sports car IMO. Light and sexy when cleaned up, I love titanium.

they look identical really, the titanium is super light weight, and bronze in color.

The mufflers will say "titanium" on them. Also a magnet does not stick to the mufflers or the over axle pipes.

The rest of the system is not titanium. Only the over axle pipe with mufflers are.

Roz had a for sale thread below that I copied a picture from that shows the lettering on the muffler.

I bought that system from him. It is VERY light compared to the non-titanium system.

I, too, love my TI's. My Z06 sounds just right. A little harder to shine up the tips but look and sound quietly great

That's the easy way to tell the difference.

yeah, same here, can't seem to get the tips as shiny as others, but love the sound and light weight.

The outside dimensions are the same for both the standard and Z06 factory exhaust systems-correct? Only the interior pipes in the mufflers are bigger in the Z06 exhaust?

And it seems that the factory Z06 mufflers may have been painted black!
