Default Blade Silver C7 & Quicksilver C5

Ran into a guy with a new C7, at Home Depot. We had a nice visit, and he gave me a good look at his beautiful C7, fully loaded Z51. Very nice, indeed.
But I still love my 'old' 2003 C5; for now.

I've been hoping to see more of C5 next to C7 photos. If you have more, of other colors as well, C5 beside C7; let's see them here.
Don

Nice pics! The C7 is a great car and I plan to get one, however your "old" C5 still looks great and easily holds it's own next to the new C7. The C5 will always have classic curves.

The colors look closer than I thought they would.

The C7 is truly an awesome car but I still looked at your car just as much. The C5 seems to not age to me.

In some of the pics the C7 looks like a 4x4 next to the C5. Maybe in person I would change my mind but from the pics the C5 looks a lot sleeker than the C7.

When you look at the OP's 4th picture (both cars head on facing the camera), it shows why the C5 is an awesome looking car... it has a low and wider stance.... more so than any other generation.

I sure wouldn't get a silver C7 with tan seats,,,black would be my choice like in my C5.

Its interesting how different the cars look, even though the body shape is almost identical.

C4's too for that matter.

Both are great looking cars. I think the C7's are fantastic, but the C5's are damn good looking cars too. I think once the "newness" of the C7 wears off, it won't look as good to me.

Seems the C7 is a little more leery of the curb than the C5.

Back in May I was driving my '04 vert, and pulled into a McDonald's for the morning coffee. I pulled in next to 2 GM test C7's! The drivers stopped to get their coffee too. As I was talking to both of them, in comes 4 more!! They told me that they met there about once a week before their daily test drives! Needless to say I took a few extra minutes that morning before getting to work.

The C7 is nice, but your wheels look better than his. Black wheels on a silver car do not look good.

In every way the C6 and C7 are technically superior cars to the C5. BUT The C5 rocks in the looks department and can be built to hold their own with almost any car on the planet. There will always be faster/better cars. So why not own the best looking? We C5 owners do own the best looking Vette so far! IMOP.
