I drive mine spring to fall with big snow piles on the side of the road. Street are kinda dry/clear at the time. Hoosiers and a snow storm and it's like Tokyo Drift on the way home.

Corrosion from road chemicals can occur to electrical connections, aluminum and steel components, steel frame and steel bolts and nuts.

Fortunately I have a beater Subaru to handle the snow and ****** road conditions. But if I didn't and only if, then it looks like I'd be in the same situation as you. I would suffer thru the poor months for the enjoyment that is had during the spring, summer and fall!!

Because driving home through one snow storm is going to destroy your car. Middle of winter with gravel and salt everywhere I wouldn't drive.

I feel you OP,I was planning on working a half day. Only got two hours in before I had to leave. A beater is on the list for next winter, but wasn't in the cards this year. The vette is nicely balanced and does well in a small amount of snow.
Passed two stuck awd audis in the snow on the way home. Its more how you drive. Be safe.
The Corrosion can be an issue, I typically hit underneath the car with a power-washer. If you don't forget about it you'll be fine. Plus the car gets looked over frequently between track days.

Is your school still open? Admin dept, etc.? You may want to let them know your car will be in the parking lot and not to tow. I'm sure the plows want a clear lot. If not, bring a shovel when you go dig it out.
They're talking 9-16 inches in Mont/Bucks/Chester etc. counties.
