This car has stripes in a few different places. In 2000 I had my car striped by an old timer that striped by hand. I was at a car show when he approached me and asked If he could pin stripe my car, because he had not done any, at the time it was the new corvette and liked the body lines. I thought he was nuts. Well the more I heard him talk I was convinced. He would use poster paints and they were removable with a cleaner wax or clay bar. And he showed me on his own hot rod. He called them ghost stripes. They are across the mirrors, around the cove on the side. under the corvette front and back. You can only see them up close and even then maybe not. The best part he charged my 35 dollars. Just makes the car a little more personal. When you go to car shows in and around pittsburgh you can spot his work on a lot of cars he has done..
