While I love Yellow Corvette's a lot of people don't. One of the dealers I talked with when I was looking for mine referred to torch red as "resale red", he said it was the easiest color to sell.

Buy whatever color you like best. Why pick something you aren't 100 percent happy with for the sake of the next owner?

Thanx to all for your for your comments and they make sense.
I should have elaborated a little more.
I'm looking at a 2004 Le Mans Blue coupe, commemorative edition; very clean with 51,000, auto with HUD for $18,999.00.
It's the price that fits my budget considering that I just purchased a new SUV a few months ago.
I guess my many concern is that I will have to sell it a say 3 years or so and very few people will find that color to their liking and I will have to reduce the price lest that it worth based on being in excellent condition.
Thank you.
What do you say
While not my favorite color ( torch red is), it's the price that fits my budjet

We wanted a Green one but with the low production of the years we were looking at I knew it would be tough to find as I wanted no mods and low miles, we found a Nassau Blue car that we have now with 44k and stock and when we found it I knew we weren't leaving without it, on the test drive my wife and i talked of the most we would give for it and drove it home for $2k less than that. Could not be happier, buy what YOU like not what you think the next guy will like.

Interesting question. I bought a silver w/black z51 coupe cause it had the options I wanted at the right $. While there are other colors I like better I figured if everybody was doing 75 in a 55 zone I wouldn't stick out in the crowd. So far I haven't been wrong. However at a car show I always gravitate towards the more colorful cars. Guess its all subjective, happy hunting

Might be the area but when I was looking last for a yellow convertible with 6spd all I could find was a few autos. When I did find a MY vert it was sold almost as fast as it became available. I found an '04 loaded vert at a dealer and a saleman I knew well told me that a nice MY vert was very hard to find and they did sell fast. I bought a new '01 vert 6spd back in 2001 but had to sell it in 2009 due to job loss - it sold in a a couple of weeks.

If you want a Torch Red Coupe, then get a Torch Red coupe. Torch Red is the second-most-popular color (next to black) so that makes it not only popular when you come to sell it, but means there are plenty out there for you to buy!
Do not settle for a color which is not your first choice, you are about to spend a considerable amount of money and should get what you want.
Besides, red Corvettes are faster than any other color!
