Those look great calivette!
I just did this mod (installed a low-miles LS7 exhaust) for the same reasons. However, I was careful to leave the heat patina on the manifolds, down pipes and mid-pipe section so as not to draw attention to the system by keeping it lookin gas stock and unobtrusive as possible. I did weld an x-pipe in place of the h-pipe section to mimic the ZR1 exhaust configuration for better sound and performance but it looks pretty much factory and flows almost as well as a set of LT's.

whats the difference in power from doing LS7 man/Xpipe and actual long tubes?
I would like to do the exhaust but dont want to shell out $1000 on LTs.. hoping this way would at least get close enough to justify the cost

The new manifolds look great. Sounds like a good mod to do.
