Just curious on how old people where when they bought their first c5.

25 here, bought it 2 months ago. Before that i had an '07 cts-v, loved that car, wish i hadnt sold it, but love the c5 so far.

i think 67 for first one and 73 for second one . . . . bought first vette , a 62 , at age 25 , in 1964 .

I'm poor. Took me until 43 for my first and only so far. I've only had it a little more than a year. I was only dreaming of one when I was 16 like the OP.

Got my first C5 when I was 41. Got my first Corvette when I was 18 and have had Corvettes ever since.

46. Always were other priorities (Whole Family skis every weekend of the Winter and Son races). My younger brother died at 43. After that I said F-it, life's too short! Wife has been real good about it too!

But I had a GT390 fastback mustang at 17
A Camaro at 21
An 86 C4 at 30

Here in NZ, American cars cost way more

66 Mustang Conv @16, 67 Firebird @17, 70 Chevelle SS396 @17, then econo boxes, then family cars.. Now many, many years later the kids are gone, I'm over the Harley thing and shopping for a C5..

First Vette was a c3 in 1984 at 35
Second Vette C5 in 2005 at 56

28, as others mentioned some things occured that make you relize life is short...

to the OP, congrats that is an accomplishment that many work for years and years to achieve. To do so by that age is really saying something!
