I was 62 - 3 years ago. It was an '03 Z w/92k miles. I really loved it, but reluctantly sold it for an '03 Z, same color (EB) w/24k miles, which is what I'm driving now. Always dreamed of driving one since I was a kid (13) and given a ride in a '62 convertible with a 327.
I inherited a '63 split window, '00 daily driver 6speed, & '04 6speed when my Dad died 2 years ago. I was 23, would much rather have him but he's happy knowing his toys are still played with!

Last year I got my first Vet at 52 yrs old. I heard once on the radio a few years ago that the average age of corvette owners were 45-50 yrs old. I was wondering how you felt about that stat?

My 1st Corvette was a 1976 which I purchased when I was 37. The 2nd was my C5 (2001) which I purchased last year when I was 71 and in my 2nd childhood!
29 for me, thanks to my gf, who is 37. Her dream car as well, so I think I am still dreaming haha. I wanted a Vette before I died, no clue it would happen this soon. Simply amazing.
