150k + Mile C5 Z06's
Just wondering how many on here have C5 Z's with as many miles as mine. I'm now at 155k in an '01, but I don't see many of these cars past 75k, even today. If you are at or above this milage, how are things holding up and what all have you had to repair thusfar?

When I was shopping, I looked at an '01 Z06 with 115k and an '02 Z06 with 145k. Of course I also looked at an '02 with 13k.
I started a daily driver thread about mileage when I was looking at cars above 75k. There are quite a few guys well into 6 figures without major issues. I felt a lot better about getting a 75k mile car after seeing all the 150k, 200k, 300k cars in that thread.

OP - have you had your car since new or if not, what mileage was on it when you bought it? Your car is certainly not a garage queen.

I'm over 163,000 miles on my '04 Z.
Repairs/issues that I've had (in no particular order):
1. ECBM - Repaired it myself, so that didn't cost anything.
2. Replaced driver window regulator.
3. Replaced passenger window regulator. Now the cable on the replacement has frayed. I have the next replacement... Just need to get off my *** and do it.
4. A/C compressor
5. The actuators that control the hot/cold for the HVAC.
6. Steering wheel position sensor. Haven't changed it yet... I get intermittent codes, usually only when the outside temp drops below 40 degrees.
7. Reverse light switch. (So minor and cheap to fix that I almost forgot about it.)
I don't think I'm forgetting anything...

I just got the car about a year ago. Other than the clutch pedal sticking to the floor during hard shifts (gonna try flushing the system with better fluid first) the car seems good. A/C works good, oil pressure at idle is around 40 psi, trans shifts like butter, interrior looks pretty good, and no codes. Everything seems to work as it should. No colomn lock issues or strange problems yet. Still pulls like a raped ape. I think the 2 guys who had it before me might have done a lot of repairs on it themselves, but who knows.
Its WAY nicer than you would expect for that many miles and its the highest milage I've seen yet. If anyone has a link to a super high milage Z thread, let me know, but I haven't found any so far. I'll post some pics if you guys want as well.

I'm at 70k miles.. wife wanted to take the c5z to my parent's house for Christmas instead of her car. This makes me feel a little better about racking up 5k miles in a matter of 2 weeks.

Not sure if it's allowed to cross forum threads or not and I don't visit there much but here is a link that I came across a while back with a few guys in the 160 to 170000 range.

I have an '03 Z06 that I bought new. It is now at 125,000 miles and needs nothing. Major repairs are few: ABS module, left door module, slave cylinder at 106k so I did the clutch which it didn't need, that's all. Cooling system is original other than lower temp stat. Brakes and rotors. Many mods but I could truly sell this car to someone and honestly tell them it needs nothing. Except that it's not for sale.

Yeah, even my trunk pops up nicely still. One of the headlight gears was starting to grind, but I swapped those out for fixed anyway. It leaks a little on the diff., but its not too bad and I've seen that on lots of cars with a lot less miles. No wrecks at all on it. It seems like it was well maintained, just driven around a lot. It was an original FL car and then in MO for a while.

There are lots of 200K and 300K C5's around. There are a few dozen 400K C5 that I know of. No matter what , this design including the drive train makes this one remarkable platform, despite the headlights the leather, the column lock and the radio. IM guessing when Dave decided to put most of the money where it would do the most good, we built one terrific automobile.

My Z06 is damn reliable. It's never left me stranded or given me a reason to worry about making it to my destination.

We did some exterior upgrades on the car this month. I loaded up a few pics I took at the shop into an album on here:
