Maybe you can show that to your bank and transfer the payments?

I get people posting pictures of my car from time to time - have not seen them claiming it as theirs. Does not bother me unless they say I own their pickup!

Mark, you sure this is your car? Silver C5 with CCW's...

J/K, that's pretty crazy... Did the guy ever come back after you busted him?

I never heard of this happening other than Frank(JETZ)had some pictures used on a few occasions to sell used parts on ebay that I saw... I think you should definitely be flattered

No matter how many screen names you use, you can't hide stupid.

Also, you cant deny the entertainment value of some of the people who come here to this forum..

A few years back somebody put my '72 road runner on Ebay! (or pictures of it if you will) Only way I found out is a buddy saw it and emailed me, I emailed Ebay and let them know. Ad was removed in less than an hour.

his Name is Trey Kizer

I got an idea...why doesn't someone email this guys bs to the owner of his Realty Co. and see what he has to say about this honest young fella...

A few years ago when I had my '00 coupe I got a message from another forum member that one of the vendors here had posted a pic of my car in an advertisement for wheels. While I was flattered that they liked it enough to post up the pic, I guess it would have been just a nice courtesy to have said something to me first.

Thats just wrong...I don't care if someone posts a picture of my car, in fact I would be flattered if they were showing it off but to claim that my pride and joy is their own would make me pissed.

Federal copyright laws dictate that they should have. Using an image that belongs to someone else without permission is against the law and can lead to jail time and a large fine.

That's something I don't have to worry about.

Some days I have a hard time wanting to claim my car myself, much less anyone else wanting it.

Wouldn't bother me. Not like they actually STOLE the car. In fact I would be flattered if they used my Vette pic.

However, posting it on a Vette forum was pretty bad idea....
