Default Problem w/ DIC on 2003z

I went out to get my Z ready to drive tomorrow. I cranked it up and noticed that the DIC is showing weird things on the screen.

Here is the link to the other post i posted.

When you press reset, all the little letters stay up. It won't get rid of them no matter what I do.

The two things that I would try are 1) wiggle each individual DIC button to make sure one isn't stuck 2) Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if it resets.

What condition is your battery in? A weak battery could play havoc with the system.

That is what I am thinking. The battery is only about 6 months old. But, it could be the problem.
