Thats pretty good! im 28 and pay the same for my 02 Z, but for an agreed value 35,000 with no driving restrictions. I have a clean record and a DD on the same policy which is 110 per month and its only a $5,000 car at best! (02 Grand Prix GTP) I had friends same age as me (this was about about 4 years ago) who always made the comment about how insurance must kill me and when I told them I pay half of what they do for their F-Body that's 4 years older they about crap!

I also think that there is a stigma of money that surrounds these cars.

Don't care

The sticker on my '01 convertible was $52K. I paid $16K too. I do feel different driving it. Not that many bright red Corvette convertibles on the road where I am. Lots of Mercedes and BMW's though. Military guys.

I don't really care what people think. I know my neighbors thought it was new, and said must be nice. Bought mine last year after my 44 year old brother died of an Aneurysm. I said to myself and Wife...Life's too short!

Nope, I have an 05 Pontiac sunfire for a winter car and the insurance on it is more than the corvette. My insurance is only 115.00 a month on the vette.

Only? Well, I guess for your age that isn't too bad. Would probably be a lot more if you only had the vette
