Paint is above average from all the cars I've seen but not "mint" in my opinion. It's got some noticeable buffer issues...but a friend of mine can fix it

Just picked up some Valvoline synthetic dot3/4 fluid to change the clutch fluid. I'll try to get that done tonight.

Nice Z!! It does bother me though that the owner managed to add exhaust, intake, shifter, and not tint the windows

Dunno what to say on that. All the mods were done by the first owner according to the second owner...

Nice car. I have a torch red one as well with the same mileage, just bought it a few months ago. My paint has the same issues. You can really only see it if you get up close and look for it, I notice mine more on the back/trunk of the car as well. I always notice it more when I wash my car. I wouldn't worry.

Very nice, well looked after, appears like much fewer mileage than 62k.

Fairly common affliction with these cars it seems...

Thanks

Just swapped some of the clutch fluid, I'll do some more next weekend when I'm back from work travel.

Beautiful car and a good price IMHO for how clean it is.

Beautiful! Did the 04's come with less badging then the older Z's? I noticed the seats and the mats dont have the Z06 badges on them in your car. Or was this just an option on some cars? Anybody know?

Ah OK. I always loved the red ones and the silver ones. They set the stock riks off nicely

Nice car, great color! It may be too late but I use ATE TYP200 DOT 4 fluid. I do 10 - 15 track days per year and it serves me well. Good performance and good price. I should mention I have DRM & Quantum brake ducts.

Mine had heads, cam, intake manifold, Halltech air intake, Kooks longtubes and X-pipe, SLP Loudmouth axleback, black C6Z replica wheels, Lloyd mats, and a recovered console lid with a subdued Z06 emblem when I bought it, but no tint. I threw on a set of stock titanium mufflers to tone it down inside and had it tinted ASAP

what pads? with a street compound something like ate super blue would be a great cost to benefit. motul 600 is another

the more hardcore you get with pads the more fluid starts to matter.

ate super blue is half the price of motul 600 and a great fluid. typ200 is the same stuff just in amber by the way

price wasn't that far off. 20k would be considered a really good deal, i mean, it's an 04. add in travel and expenses and you're at 21.5 and that's just text book shopping. finding a well taken care of car that hasn't been hammered on is downright difficult with the c5 z06
