Who loves their C5?
#201
Last night, I took my step Father to a movie in my C5. He is a big Ford guy and has and 2015 Mustang GT Convertible. Used to have a 2007 GT-500. We pulled up to a stoplight with the windows down and some kids pulled up next to us. Passenger yells, "I love your car". I said thanks and drove on. Ken says to me, "how come no one says that to me in my Mustang?" I said, "don't know, but the say it to to me all the time in my C5". I love this car. The lines are so good and compared to a C7, the price is right. Mine isn't going anywhere any time soon.

2015 C5 of the Year Winner
Mines not going anywhere anytime soon I hope. I could never imagine someone else behind the wheel as an owner. Just wouldn't be right. May 18th will be 10 years as the owner. Doesn't seem that long ago. Yeah, mines a keeper. It may change some looks over the years but that's part of the fun.

Melting Slicks
I always get compliments and some people even think "its a new one." One downside - it seems that everyone wants "to play" - and sometimes I really have to just grit my teeth and back off the gas...

We were days away from trading our C5 for a 2017 black vert, but could not get the deal done before the order deadline. So. . .now we get to drive it another 3-4 months before ordering a 2018. . .unless we change our minds over the summer. We do love this car !!!

I..... LOVE..... MY..... C5!!!!!
Coming from a 1982 CE, and having owned Cadillac's and BMW's my whole life, I must remark that the ride, handling, appointments, stereo, comfort, and seats, much more resemble my BMW 540i than anything else. Of course, it is not as soft-riding as the full-frame Cadillac's I've owned, but the Bimmer is pretty tight in corners, and this Corvette is right there too.
This car is the absolute nuts..... It is everything I want in a traveling automobile..... It is Cool, Awesome, Shapely, Sexy, Curvy, and Sublime, but Euro Super-Car-Stylish and aerodynamic too.
My Wife and I are taking it to Niagara Falls in May, and then to Maine in September. I appreciate that she has a six-way power as I do (DUH- CHEVY, why no passenger power seat in the C3 CE?), and the great stereo.
I don't think I will ever sell this car, and I have already ordered a full-custom interior from Vette Essentials, ACI and SLP Spoilers, the Borla S-Type Exhaust, and the TSW Nurburgring wheels to make the car really mine. I can't wait for these great additions, and the May Niagara Falls / Canada trip!
