Thats Cool as Ice! VIP (Very Impressive Pipes) Lol hope you cought thoes Vanilla Ice references! (I listened to that Shiznit growing up)

I assume thoes are small resoantors not cats?

Hope everything fits well, sometimes the budget friendly exhaust parts need some slight "Adjustments" to make fit perfect.

when you get the headers in you will definatly be "Havin' A Roni"! (good time)... this is the start of the mods... i assure you, you will get "Hooked"! 1 7/8" long tubes will definatly let that Motor "Exhale". the 1st trip out you are gunna Be like "Oh My Gosh" when thoes pipes "Play that Funky Music"!

dont forget to add pics when you "Get' Wit it". Also you might need to get some O2 Extensions if they didnt come with the kit, few Vette vendors offer them.

(sorry i couldnt resist).... OK, im retarded.

I did the exact same part number install on my last car....They fit well, the drivers side did just touch the bottom of the bellhousing cover, but a tweak with a pry bar fixed that. I re used the stock header bolts, and steel gaskets. No sweat.

No second set of O2 bungs for the after-cat O2s, right? Or do a I see bungs on those two separate extension pipes for between the cats and X pipe? Can't make it out in the photos...

Obviously a tuner would just tune the rear O2s out, but it was nice that the XSPower headers had those provisions. I guess those are indefinitely unavailable...

So these are not a new part right, just the normal C5 OBX headers?

$750 with cats look pretty good from that source, what did shipping set you back?

Just bought the same set for 599. Oh GM Fan the shipping was 36 bucks to CO. I'm pretty pumped this is my first modification for my c5z (besides a racing seat).

There are rear 02 bungs there....I did NOT even have to drill holes in the tunnel plate, they just cleared!!!
The shipping UPS to Canada was $80.

What size are the pipes? If 3", do they neck down to 2.5" for the mufflers? How far back do they do that? The website doesn't say.

Sorry can't hold back... we owe them $1.3 trillion in debt now (our largest foreign debt holder). This is a contributor to the $17 million and growing US debt....

Someone chimed in and said he got these for $599... that's 1/3 the price of the US made ones...scary and amazing. They do look good.

And you're supporting GM's questionable business ethics by purchasing a Corvette, didn't stop you though did it?

You might be a red neck, if you lay your new long tubes out on the kitchen floor..

Okay... so you're on a forum that embraces the GM Corvette and you're trashing GM... nice job

By the way, I wasn't trying to give the OP a hard time about the headers. As I noted, they look really good and I'm sure he's getting a great value for his money....more power to him. My comment was a general one in response to RC000E regarding "...[China] taking us over".

I love this country, I love GM, and I love Corvettes.

Nevermind, your skull is obviously way too thick to get my point. If their business ethic bothered me that much, I wouldn't have a driveway full of GM. Forget I said anything.
