those were black before i painted them that gunmetal which is a mix of dark ford alloy and honda vogue silver with a bunch of clear. the stock paint on the nurburgring is absolute trash. very thin single stage
the tires are 265 35 18 and 295 30 19 michelin pss
i tried the 305 30 19 first and they look absolutely retarded on the 10.5" wheel. porsche specs that tire on an 11.5-12" wheel and i quickly found out why
this is the 305 on rear, see what i mean. they hang over a solid 3/8" the 305 in pss is just ridiculously wide
also won't clear the rear brake ducts without 5mm spacers {which aren't a bad idea to run anyway since the rears are cast at 65mm}
the 295 30 19 and 265 35 18 combo is spectacular. the car is very neutral, comes back easily and behaves very well. i absolutely LOVE this tire as street tires go. it performs well without needing heat in it and rails in the rain. does everything a street tire should and gets even better if you do put some heat in them.

get the rings, there are no good street tires for the stock c5z wheels. the only one that's kind of close is the conti dw and the front 275 is fat
with the rings you can use the michelin pss which is really just an amazing street tire
