My actual "DD" is the GTI, but I've been driving the Vette about 90% of the time since I've gotten it. Motorcycle only was ridden three times or so this year (was deployed most of the summer). Was enjoying the Vette too much to ride!

Default Fun DD (For now)

[/IMG]

This was a one owner car when I bought six months ago, it was only driven 1200 miles a year for it's first 10 years of life! The car only had 22K when I bought it and the car has just over 29,000 miles now.
Car has Heads, cam, & full bolt ons. I am having to drive the vet right now as a DD until I can get the rear main seal replaced on my Chevy 1500 extended cab truck. Once the truck is fixed I plan on getting my NX wet kit installed. I had a 05 GTO with full bolt ons that someone helped me total back in 2008. I already had a complete NX wet kit brand new in the box, but the car was crashed before I had a chance to get it installed.

Well my Z06 isn't a daily driver, but the car I use for my DD is actually more of a collector's item than my CE Z06. And the folks on the G8 Forums freak out a bit when you say you are using it as a daily driver. The only thing better than the LS3 and six speed trans would be my LS6 in my Z! But no child seat in the Corvette. Both cars are an absolute blast to drive. Check out the tag on the GXP, Four Door Corvette.

I'd have no problem driving mine every day, but am not willing to deal with snow.

I thought the Michelins had that big ridge because it's a rim saver. I have 325's on 11" rims, and they don't look strange at all. Of course, I'd prefer to have a nice rubber ridge to protect the rims, but Invos are different. (narrower, too)

depends on what you like, i can't stand tires that aren't parallel. the 325s fit 12" wheels pretty well, haven't ever seen them on an 11"

on my 10.5" wheels the difference in fit between 295 and 305 is obvious. i'm much more into proper fit than going wide though. i think a lot of guys on the forum seem to like stuffing as much tire as they can on their cars.

so, it's a difference in preference

This is the best angle I have of the fitment of a 325-30/19 on an 11" wide rim.

that's an invo, apples and oranges compared to the pss, they are wider still and have this really square lip. at least the invo sits in the bead and the tire just bows out

that would bug me having that oversized stuffed look but it's no where near as bad as the pss. they just require a lot of wheel to fit correct. the 305 on an 11" still has a little overhang, on a 10.5 it looks ridiculous

Yeah, it's hard to believe, without seeing how much wider the Mich is than the Nittos. Gotta be at least a full inch of tread.

This is awesome, I wanted a GXP so bad but I was afraid to daily it. But the more I think about it the more I want one anyways. Hopefully soon when we pay off my fiance's mini, my daily gets updated! BTW I love white hot with red interior, exactly what I want, or pacific slate metallic!
