Default Aftermarket leather steering wheel cover?

I want to pick up the RedlineGoods leather steering wheel cover to replace the OE cover, but I don't want to cut off my stock cover to do so.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket leather wheel cover over their stock leather cover? Wheelskins does not count.

you can always buy another stock wheel to recover and keep your original wheel as a spare. Salvage yards usually sell C5 steering wheels for around $50-$75. Plus it is much easier to recover the wheel when it is off the car. That is what I did for mine

These covers are pretty popular:

I personally would much prefer to have the wheel recovered, but the ease and affordability of the CorvetteMods cover is appealing, and it does look pretty good.

It's not going on a Vette. I thought about buying an extra wheel, but don't really want to waste the $

Redlinegoods.com is a vendor here with some amazing results and also do pretty much all performance vehicles around.

I bought a spare wheel waiting on some extra spending money to get one of there installers to Fix me up.

I know. I have a lot of their leather in my car & had a lot in my old C6 also.

They replied to my 1st email, but stopped replying after that. Guess they got enough of my money already.
